I did not remember this guy in the slightest, but this does explain some things about Kogoro's behavour, if his role model had the same (and even worse) habits and never taught him otherwise. Still doesn't excuse any of it

Why do they keep on introducing this weird Kogoro lore in these filler episodes!!

I hate this old man with a passion. Hatred, malice even. WHY is him harassing woman seen as a joke!!?!!??!!? I wish they didn't have Kogoro take the hit there because I would've loved to see this bloke get decked in the face by Ran. At least he's a one off filler character and will not be sticking around.
